We are closely monitoring the COVID-19 situation, as the safety of our employees and their families, our clients, and our community in which we live and work are a top priority. We continue to develop, update and share guidance with our employees so they are fully informed on how to protect themselves, their families and their clients against transmission of the virus.
The IRS has extended the deadline for tax payments and the due dates for the filing of tax returns to July 15, 2020.
MMM&Co is continuously updating our business continuity plan to ensure our Firm’s continued operation and uninterrupted service to our clients. Our Macon and Perry offices will remain open in order to receive and distribute information as needed, and most travel outside of our offices will be suspended for the time being. We will also follow CDC guidelines and practice social distancing by limiting individual contact to the extent possible.
We are taking every precaution to ensure the safety and health of our communities, but we need your help. If you are experiencing flu-like symptoms and have a scheduled appointment with our firm, please contact us so that we can make arrangements to obtain the necessary information without having to have an in-person meeting. We encourage our clients to communicate with us electronically or by phone, if possible.
Should the situation arise, our firm is equipped to work remotely while maintaining a high level of security. We encourage collaboration utilizing Box, our chosen cloud content management provider. Box provides a secure environment for sharing files and documents. Many of our clients, as well as the Fortune 500, currently use Box to collaborate with employees, clients, teammates, and vendors. If you do not currently utilize Box, please let us know and we will be happy to assist you in creating an account.
We appreciate your patience and flexibility as our processes continue to be updated and changed. MMM&Co is praying for your good health and safety.
