Justin has been associated with the firm since 2004. He provides tax and consulting services to individuals and privately-owned businesses including income tax consulting and preparation, financial analysis, and related services. His practice focuses on individual, business, and trust taxation as well as business valuations for estate and gift tax purposes. In addition to being a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Justin holds the designations of Certified in Financial Forensics (CFF) and Accredited in Business Valuation (ABV).
Teresa joined the firm in 1989 after obtaining a Bachelor of Business Administration in accounting from Mercer University. She specializes in providing accounting, auditing, and tax services to financial institutions and commercial business enterprises.
Marjorie has been associated with the firm since 1997. Prior to joining the firm, she worked for KPMG in Houston, TX, and Atlanta, GA. Marjorie received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Southern Methodist University and a Master of Business Administration from Mercer University. She specializes in audit, accounting, and consulting services to financial institutions and other commercial enterprises.
Ron has practiced public accounting since 1991. Since joining the firm in 1997, he has specialized in individual and small business income taxation. He also has expertise in assisting small businesses with accounting systems, financial record keeping, and payroll reporting. A past president of the Middle Georgia Chapter of the Georgia Society of CPAs, Ron has been extensively involved in the local community having served on several professional boards and volunteering his time to various charitable organizations.
After receiving his Bachelors of Business Administration degree from the University of Georgia in 1989, Chris returned home to Macon to begin his practice in public accounting. For 25 years, Chris maintained a traditional practice in auditing and taxation while also specializing in litigation, valuation, and forensic accounting. He joined McNair, McLemore, Middlebrooks & Co., in 2013 as the director of our Litigation and Forensics Practice Group and his practice is now devoted exclusively to the litigation, valuation, forensic accounting specialty areas, and for expert witnessing. He has been retained as an expert witness in hundreds of cases and has provided expert witness testimony, at deposition or trial, in numerous cases. Chris served for ten years on the Georgia Society of CPA’s Professional Ethics committee. In addition to being a Certified Public Accountant, Chris holds the designation of Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA) and Master Analysts in Financial Forensics (MAFF).
Kathy joined the firm in 1995 after receiving a Master of Accountancy degree from the University of Georgia. Her primary areas of practice include income and estate taxation.
Tanner has been associated with the firm since 2012. He provides tax and consulting services to individuals and privately-owned businesses including income tax consulting and preparation, financial analysis, and related services. His practice focuses on individual, business, and trust taxation. In addition to being a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Tanner is a member of the Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants and former president of its Middle-Georgia chapter. He and his wife, Autumn, reside in Monroe County.
Brian has been associated with the firm since 2010. He provides tax and financial accounting services to individuals and privately-owned businesses. His practice focuses on individual and business taxation as well as providing attestation engagements for non-public companies with concentrations in the construction, manufacturing, professional services, and real estate entities. Brian received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Columbus State University. He and his wife Megan reside in Macon with their three children.
Mitch has been with the firm since 2017 after spending nine years with another regional firm. Mitch is a 2007 graduate of the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Business Administration and Master of Accountancy.
Based out of the firm’s Perry, GA office, Mitch specializes in providing accounting and tax services to a wide range of entities. These entities include closely held businesses, real estate and agricultural entities, manufacturing entities, healthcare entities, professional service entities, and governmental & non-profit entities.
Mitch is a member of the American Institute of Certified Accountants and the Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants. Mitch and his wife, Shelley, reside in Perry with their two children.
Charles has practiced public accounting since 1984. As the firm’s quality control director, he provides technical accounting and auditing assistance to our professionals. In addition to being a Certified Public Accountant, Charles has a Master’s degree in accounting from the University of Georgia and is a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE). He provides inspection services to other CPA firms and is a frequent speaker at Georgia Society of CPA training events. He also provides forensic services and a range of accounting and auditing services to businesses, governments, and non-profits.
Elizabeth serves as the firm's administrative partner, a position she has held since 1997. She is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the firm, including firm accounting, billing, and human resources. Prior to assuming the administrative position, Elizabeth managed an audit practice consisting primarily of non-profit organizations and manufacturers. Elizabeth has been associated with the firm since 1983 and is very active in the community.
Brittany has been associated with the firm since 2007 after receiving a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Master of Accountancy from Georgia College & State University. She specializes in providing tax, consulting, financial, accounting and planning services to individuals and small (nonpublic) entities with concentrations in the automobile dealership, Buy Here Pay Here, and real estate industries.
Howard has been with the firm since 1978. He specializes in individual, estate, and corporate taxation as well as bookkeeping, payroll, and accounts payable services for businesses.
Gay’s professional experience began with the firm in 1981. He specializes in providing tax and financial accounting services to small businesses with concentrations in the construction, automobile dealership, broadcasting, and general manufacturing industries.
Terry McMichael has practiced accounting with the firm since 2005 and is a graduate of the University of Georgia Terry College of Business. Terry specializes in providing financial accounting, tax, and consulting services to non-profit entities in the electric utility industry and small businesses.
Danny has been associated with the firm since 2002. Prior to joining the firm, he spent four years with a healthcare company in various financial roles. Danny received a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Master of Business Administration from Georgia College & State University. He specializes in providing tax and financial accounting services to nonpublic entities with concentrations in the construction and general manufacturing industries.
Pat is a graduate of Georgia Southern University with a Bachelor of Business degree in accounting. Prior to joining the firm in 2000, he spent 10 years in public accounting with another regional firm and three years with a healthcare company in various financial roles. He specializes in assurance and advisory services for financial institutions and other commercial enterprises.
Jason joined McNair, McLemore, Middlebrooks & Co., LLC in 1998 while attending Mercer University. Upon completing a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in accounting from Mercer University in 2001, he joined the firm fulltime specializing in non-profit entities with a primary focus on the electric utility industry.
Ray has been associated with our firm since 1978 and has been a partner since 1984. He specializes in business valuations as well as income and estate tax matters. In addition to being a Certified Public Accountant, he also holds designations of Accredited in Business Valuations (ABV), Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA) and Certified in Financial Forensics (CFF). He is a director and active member of several professional and community organizations on both a local and statewide basis.
Russ joined the firm in 1996 after graduating from Mercer University’s Stetson School of Business and Economics. Russ specializes in providing financial accounting, tax, and consulting services to utility industries. In addition to being a Certified Public Accountant, he holds designations of Certified Financial Forensics (CFF) and Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE).
Keith joined the Firm in 2002 after receiving a bachelor of business administration from Georgia College & State University. He specializes in individual and small business income taxation, in addition to providing bookkeeping and payroll services for businesses.
Rick specializes in the areas of income and estate taxation and tax controversy. His experience in public accounting began in 1978 and he has been associated with the firm since 1989.
