Litigation, Valuation, and Forensics Staff
Job Summary
As an LVF Staff member, you will play an integral role in assisting with complex business matters in the areas of litigation, business valuation, and forensic analysis. The ideal candidate will possess an ability to think analytically, solve problems, and communicate effectively through well-written reports. Key responsibilities include:
• Work closely with senior LVF staff to provide litigation support, including data collection and analysis.
• Prepare draft reports of findings and assist in the creation of presentations for clients.
• Conduct research and analysis to support the valuation of businesses, assets, and liabilities.
• Ensure compliance with professional standards and firm policies.
• Collaborate with other departments within the firm as needed.
• Enhance technical skills through internal and external training programs provided by the firm.
Position Requirements
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting.
- 0 to 3 years in public accounting.
- Intermediate level proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Professional demeanor, with the ability to adapt dress code to be commensurate with clients when necessary.
- A professional credential in business valuation is preferred. If the candidate does not possess such a credential, at its option, the firm will sponsor the cost for the training necessary to obtain the Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA) and/or the Master Analyst in Financial Forensics (MAFF) credentials offered by the National Association of Certified Valuators & Analysts.
- Licensed as a CPA is a plus but will at no time be required.
